Project Title: Video Portrait - Matthew

Skills Used: Digital Video and Audio, Creative Presentation, iMovie Video and Audio Editing, iPhone Video Camera, Microsoft Word Doc Script Writing

This video was first scripted through a Word Doc and rehearsed. I used my digital and audio skills to plan how the recording would proceed. The story was set to be a video portrait for a boy named Matthew. iMovie was used to edit, add music, adjust audio, etc. Various shot angles were added to the video so to not bore the viewers.

Project Title: Snack Time!

Skills Used: Digital Video and Audio, Creative Presentation, iMovie Video and Audio Editing, iPhone Video Camera, Microsoft Word Doc Script Writing

First, I decided on a simple video story that would involve two kids working together to a common goal. The dilemma was that they could not reach the goal without each others help. After writing a script, we rehearsed. I then used the iPhone camera to record video and audio. After the footage was captured, I uploaded all content into iMovie to edit, add music, adjust background noise, add transitions, etc.

Project Title: Dinosaur Boy - An Inside Look at Bullying

Skills Used: Digital Video and Audio, Creative Presentation, iMovie Video and Audio Editing, iPhone Video Camera, Microsoft Word Doc Script Writing

Word Doc was used to script a rough draft of the video shots and dialogue. iPhone was used to capture various angles and video in it's entirety. A recording app was used to record the audio, inside a sound proof area. iMovie was then used to edit video, cut out any background hum from the audio, add music, and add transitions.

Project Title: Mall Billboard Mock Advertisement for Full Sail University class project.

Skills Used: Creative Presentation, Adobe Photoshop, iPhone Video Camera, Full Sail University Royalty Free Graphics Web Page.

This mock advertisement was created to feature the Media Communications Bachelors Degree program at Full Sail University. I set it in "real time" so it could look as authentic as possible with the Adobe Photoshop program. I wanted the boy playing with an airplane to be the main focal point of the ad. While having minimal, but meaningful content on the board, I posed the question that I'm sure all adults can feel nostalgic about, "When I grow up, I want to be...". This paired with the Full Sail logo and program name is to give a viewer the sense that Full Sail University is the place where someone can enroll and fulfill their dreams.

Project Title: Outside Billboard Mock Advertisement for Full Sail University class project.

Skills Used: Creative Presentation, Adobe Photoshop, iPhone Video Camera, Full Sail University Royalty Free Graphics Web Page.

This mock advertisement was created to hypothetically feature Full Sail University's new MCBS program. I decided to add it to a "real time" billboard setting to seem as real as possible with Adobe Photoshop program. I then added in the Full Sail University's logo in the middle of the thinking cloud, paired with the words below "job dreaming". Featuring the logo and the name of the new program was to get a viewer thinking that Full Sail University was a gateway to their dream job.

Project Title: Hypothetical Entrepreneur Business - The Room of Requirement Yoga Studio

Skills Used: Adobe Photoshop, Creative Presentation, Visual Arts, Aesthetics and Theory Communications, Graphic Design, Editing for the Web.

This website was created to be a hypothetical entrepreneur business. In order to stand out from the competition, other yoga studios in Los Angeles. In an attempt to do such, a Harry Potter theme was added to the yoga studio. The website was created through a WiX template. So the site could be aesthetically pleasing as yoga studios should be, I kept the design fairly simple, clean, but a with minimal Harry Potter themed content. To make this site as real as possible, I added in a light box where a visitor could subscribe to stay up to date on all the studio's news. Yoga teachers were added with a short bio under the Classes tab. Also, Hogwarts House themed classes were added along with a short description, class fee, class time length, and a book now button. A blog featured on the site shows multiple articles about the benefits of yoga.

More to come!
